Vegan Cannabis Recipes for A Groovy Summer!

Healthy, Vegan Cannabis Recipes for A Groovy Summer

Get healthy this summer with these wholesome cannabis recipes that will leave you feeling incredible inside and out. The best medicines are herbal remedies and plant-based foods so combining them just makes sense. Whether you’re a pro in the kitchen or not these plant-based cannabis recipes are simple. This way you can spend more time enjoying your creations than cooking.
Let's Get Started!
For our recipes and countless others, there needs to be a cannabis oil base of some sort. Throwing a handful of buds into a meal won’t give the soothing effects that you’re looking for and definitely won’t taste great. Coconut oil is an ideal option and works as an alternative for butter. You can also check out Twisted Extracts Take and Bake oils at Pure Green Express. These oils were created for baking & cooking and are an easy option if your thinking about making homemade, tasty edibles.

Cannabis Coconut Oil Cannabis Coconut Oil

Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 cups Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 ounce Cannabis Bud
  • 4 cups Water
There are many different ways you can approach making this herbaceous oil. My favourite method is in an instant pot or slow cooker. This method will be easy and scent-free, unlike the stovetop method. If you don’t mind (or really enjoy) the skunky smell floating through your home then this will work for you! Put everything in a saucepan and bring to a boil then simmer
for about 3 hours.
Once your concoction is cooled down it’s time to strain out the plant material. Use cheesecloth and pour it into a large container or bowl. After this, pour around 3 cups of boiling water through it as well to collect all those delicious oils. You don’t need the plant pieces the oil was extracted from so this can be tossed with the cheesecloth.
Leave your bowl of oil and water to cool down and when you return it will be simple to scoop off the separated oil and store it to use in recipes.

Cannabis-Infused Waffles!Cannabis-Infused Waffles

I don’t know about you but I absolutely love waffles. These fluffy, crispy pieces of heaven are vegan and gluten-free as well as delicious for any meal.
Ingredients
  • 2 cups Almond Flour
  • 1 cup Tapioca Flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp Flax Meal mixed with 6 cups Water
  • 1 cup Plant-Based Milk
  • 2 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup of Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 cup Melted Coconut Oil
  • 2 tsp Melted Cannabis- Infused Coconut Oil
  1. The first thing we need is a waffle maker! If you don’t have one, hopefully, you have a friendly neighbour that can lend you one for the day.
  2. Whisk together the flax meal and water. This is going to be our replacement for eggs as it acts as a binder in the same way.
  3. Add the apple cider vinegar to 1 cup of your alternative milk and wait until it becomes thick and curdled after around 15 minutes.
  4. In another bowl mix together all of the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder).
  5. Slowly add the rest of the ingredients to the dry mixture to create your batter.
  6. Get the batter into the waffle iron and when nice and golden brown you’re ready to eat! Add your favourite toppings like syrup and fruit.

Rice Crispy TreatsRice Crispy Treats

Rice Crispy Treats are something that takes me back to my childhood. Because the main ingredient is normally marshmallow it was a treat I resisted for years. This recipe is just as gooey and delicious as the original.
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Coconut or Nut Butter
  • 1/2 cup Brown Rice Syrup
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or agave
  • 4 cups Crispy Rice Cereal
  • 1/3 cup Coconut Flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Plant-Based Milk
  • 2 tbsp Cannabis-Infused Coconut Oil
1. Let’s get started by lining a baking pan with parchment paper so that your rice treats don’t become glued on and almost impossible to remove.
2. On the stovetop heat up the coconut butter (that isn’t infused), brown rice syrup, and maple syrup in a pan over low heat. Whisk for a couple of minutes and then remove from heat.
3. While warm, stir in the cereal and coconut until everything is evenly mixed.
4. Flatten your mixture into your lined pan and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
5. In a separate bowl mix the infused coconut oil and maple syrup. Warm in the microwave. until the coconut oil is smooth. If it’s not thin enough to drizzle, incorporate the plant-based milk.
6. Pour your infused glaze as evenly as possible then you can cut your snack into squares and enjoy

  • Pineapple
  • Kale
  • Lemon Juice
  • Hemp Seeds
